We’re getting married!

Wedding Events

Aside from a wedding ceremony, there are also some other things happening! Here's a rough outline of what to expect in terms of food and events.

Location

The wedding is taking place at Breathe Easy cottage, about half an hour's drive south of Owen Sound. It's on a fairly large property (140 acres), so there should be plenty of space. Some people will have to sleep in tents, so if you're into that please say so! Lindi and Reilly will be sleeping in a Gypsy caravan, as per tradition.

The address is 214838 Baseline Road, Grey County, N0G 1R0. Google Maps can show you where to go, but failing that here are some directions to get there from Toronto:

Take the 401 west to 410 north, past Brampton, then over to hwy10 north, past Orangeville, Shelburne (right turn in centre of town), Flesherton, then to Markdale. Turn left at the stoplights onto Grey Road 12, go to the next paved highway (hwy6, about 12miles) and turn right.

Go north about 4 miles to Dornoch then turn left on Grey Road 25 (paved). Go west 2 miles then turn left onto Baseline Rd which begins there (gravel). Drive south a mile or so, past Concession 12 and watch for the driveway on the right with the little green sign "214838".

Gift Registry

Here's the deal: we already live together (in sin!), so we totally have the stuff you'd buy a couple who are getting ready to start a life together. Even a food processor, like real adults! What we don't have is a bunch of awesome memories of a sweet party where we get married surrounded by all our favourite people.

So instead here's a party registry, where you can sign up to be awesome at our wedding. If you really can't handle not giving us something more tangible, I guess you can give us some money and we'll blow it on candy-flavoured beer and beer-flavoured candy.
